Baby on Board!!!!!

Well I finally got my "Baby on Board"TUBE PIN and secretly so excited. I use to see the other preggers on the train and Underground Tube with these pins and would say to myself, I will never wear one of those, don't need one NO not me! Well I was died wrong! During rush hour when you are crammed in like sardines and some guy is stinking of garlic from the night before and breathing in your face, you would give your first born child for a seat! I haven't had many people give up a seat on the train yet, think I'm in this awkward phase where I could be prego or I could just need to lay off the pies but not with this baby (pin). I love it that the train system is doing this for us preggers as it makes a world of difference to be able to sit for long train rides. i will wear it with pride yipee!

Look whose in the big girl pants at 23 weeks!!!!

Well the belly is a growin and I am starting to get nose bleeds and dizziness and cravings for Snickers dipped in feta cheese (only kidding but does that not sound delicious to anyone else??) Things are swimming along, I get tired alot but for the most part feel fab :)
So I am finally in the big girl maternity jeans!!! There are amazing and so comfy :) The jeans ride really low and then have this blue stretchy business that goes over the belly and you can eat and drink whatever you want! I mean I am going to wear these guys after the baby when I go for Italian or Indian or a wing eating contest, I recommend them to EVERYONE!!!!

Headstand at 22 weeks!! Good for the nugget I promise :)

Well I have managed to keep up my yoga practice and teaching but have had to slow down a bit. No more intense twists or major core work but inversions are beneficial, like headstand which I am doing in the photo.

Salamba Sirsasana (yogi for headstand) is a inversion as it brings the heart above the head. This pose is also called the king of asanas or yoga poses. It has lot of therapeutic benefits it helps keep you looking young and wrinkle-free. In this pose the whole weight of the body rests on the head so lumber (lower) vertebrae automatically get placed in their normal position which is great for annoying prego backache. This pose strengthens the digestive track, liver, kidney, stomach, intestines and improves digestion the works!!! The rush of blood to the head sharpens memory, increases concentration, removes headache, migraine, mental tension and anxiety. It has beneficial effect on the endocrine system which reduces unnecessary overweight that comes with carrying a bubba (as my Australian friend Sascha calls babies :). The face receives plenty of arterial blood which nourishes the skin and facial tissues, prevents and erases wrinkles and hair becomes healthy. So it's good for moms and babies!!

I mean what about this pose is not to love!!!!! If you are like, "there is no way you are getting me to stand on my head" then try going to a wall and just lift your legs and feet up and rest for about 10 minutes I promise you receive alot of the same yummy goodness. Enjoy!!

Baby Billings Second Photo Shoot at 20 weeks and 6 days!!

Went to have our 20 week scan yesterday Friday the 13th do do do do!! Scary but not so scary because it was James birthday and we got to see our little "Himer" who was moving around and drinking lots. Himer was cross legged in a Lotus Yoga Pose, mama's favorite pose! You can see in the picture if you look at the middle, what looks like a bubble is Himer's foot. We are totally in love :)
This pic may be my fav I mean just look at that nose!!!! Such cuteness :) You can really see Himer's big ole head and lovely spine in this one. Also that big femur bone at the top right hand corner where the baby's legs are all curled, gonna be a snowboarding like daddy! Okay okay I'm making myself a bit nauseous he he. We are excited. The nurse said baby is cookin good and everything looks to be growing normally yippee!!! We were soooo tempted to find out the sex but we didn't so it's gonna be a surprise. We are taking bets so get your money out :)
