Introducing "The Tank" at 31 weeks!!!

Seems like the weeks are flying by, I can't believe we only have 9 weeks to go and we get to meet our greatest creation ahhhh! Have spent the weekend with James at Hypnobirthing, Active breathing and Partners Pregnancy Yoga Workshops getting ready for Operation Baby Billings. I have a birth plan that includes having the nugget at The Isis Birthing Center in a birth pool with no drugs expect alittle gas and air, so as natural as possible, You can never hold too strongly to any plan as you never know what may happen, but that's the plan right now.... so we shall see :) James nicknames me "The Tank" which I should take offense but thinks it's funny, I would like to think I am as strong as a tank and can handle the mission so to speak. oorah!!!
So James has kindly nicknamed me "The Tank" now ha ha!! 31 weeks now and the munchkin is growing like a champ..and so it my booty! Hee hee :)

Just a close up to show that the belly button is in full effect, the outtie is on it's way OUT!!

Baby Billings does Berlin and Commerical!!! 29 Weeks!!

Well you wouldn't believe it if I told you BUT I have pictures to prove it! I will try and condense it  SO got a call from Jennifer, my lovely PR manager at work, about a commercial being shot in Berlin (that's in Germany ya know;) that was in need of prego ladies that do yoga and it's all expenses paid and you get a lump sum of money if you get the commercial um where do I sign??

Went to the audition and GOT IT YIPEE! So off to Berlin I go but not really knowing what in the world I'm doing. Meet some gorgeous pregnant ladies at the airport who were chosen as well and off we go. Get to Berlin and greeted by our lovely guide Karlotta who tells us we are being driven to the hotel and she will explain everything when we get there. Get to the hotel and she says that she actually can't tell us what we are doing, but that we are testing a product and that it's not a commercial more of a market research thing...SAY WHAT!! Does that mean we came here and there is no commercial? Anyway it was all very vague but she said don't worry all will be revealed tomorrow and it's nothing dangerous go enjoy the city on us. So we did, oh by the way I was in good company with 6 other pregnant ladies, we were getting some looks on the street for srue ha ha!

We took a sightseeing bus all around Berlin, first time I had ever taken one and it was great for preggers so we weren't walking around everywhere just the hot spots, here's us at Checkpoint Charlie the old divide against West and East Germany, got to see the Berlin Wall and US Check point
I think this is the German Parliament but could be dead wrong, impressive building all the same!

Berlin Cathedral
Okay so did a day of sightseeing, which was fab, and then we get a text that we need to be ready at 6:10pm to go to location and to wear yoga clothes..okay We get picked up and signed some release forms and again asked what we were doing and the answer we got was, "going to do some yoga poses and then talk about a product with the research marketing team" so no commerical BUT we get 6 months worth of pampers diapers/nappies for doing it. I was disappointed at first about not getting paid but I thought free trip to Berlin and 6 months of diapers, I'll take it!!

We are shown into a pleasant yoga studio and did 20 mins of yoga and then a women came in to talk to us about the smells of the room and how they made us feel, showed us an air freshener and had us do an interpretative dance to the smell, all in the name of market research!!!!! The shock came when we found out that a punk rock show had taken place the night before in our Zen Yoga Studio. We got shown a video of about 60 people rockin out to the punk band and eating loads of crap, pizza, booze, garlic everything. Then the band came in and we got sweaty hugs. Basically they had closed the windows and cleaned the place up and we had no idea, and pregger ladies are suppose to have a heightened sense of smell! We were fooled!

They asked us what we thought and we were all shocked of course but the real shocker came when the production crew came in to tell us that we had actually been filmed the whole time for a commercial and cameras had been put all over the room and mics were hiding in the cushions we were sitting on. So they had to trick us to make the commercial work and for us to have the most natural response such fun. I can't say the product until the commercial comes out for legal reasons  but it rhymes with Rebreze hee hee!

This was us after the shoot with our cheeky driver!

All the preggers and Karlotta in the middle! She took such good care of us and felt so bad to have to lie to a bunch of pregnant ladies, bless her!

What an adventure, it was so great. I got to meet some amazing ladies and visit a beautiful city where I was totally taken care of. Baby Billings had a great time as well I think, the baby was so active the whole time, kicking and rolling around. I think Himer knew there were other babies around and was being sociable, I can't wait to tell Himer how he/she was in show business before he/she ever officially arrived in the world. Huge thanks to Sonia, Ciara, Corrie, Keely, Hannah and Kirsty for making the trip so special and now I have 6 new pregger friends and playmates for Baby billings!!!

We stood according to due date, from right Keely, 32 weeks, Corrie 30 weeks, Hannah 29 weeks, Me 29 weeks, Ciara 28 weeks, Sonia 26 Weeks and Kirsty 23 weeks Great Group of ladies! We took this at a fun Italian Restaurant and the staff want us to send them a picture, guess they don't see this many preggers together!

Um did you say only 12 more weeks till Operation Baby Billings???!!!

Catching some Vitamin D!
So I find it hard to believe but I am entering into my 3rd trimester of growing a baby from scratch. What a glorious adventure. I am 28 weeks and counting and only have another 12 weeks, that's 3 more months until I get to see the little munchkin. I can't wait definitely getting to the point that I am wondering What do you look like? Are you going to be a beautiful boy or precious angel girl? Will you have my chin (let's hope not) or James nose (hummm). Are you going to be a astronaut or live in my basement until your 40? Ha ha only kidding.
Well I am still feeling good the baby is growing and I can feel it in my ribs as well as my back. Himer likes to kick my right rib and after a meal rest right on my stomach it feels like. But I can't complain I am still overjoyed and bewildered that we are capable of making another person and enjoying the ride day by day.
It has been an amazing week of sunshine so getting some needed rays and doing a little cooking ;)
